A day at the beach

The weather was great!

The sea-life was plentiful.

We made a good group!

We took lots of friends with us.

It was a perfect day at the beach.

We even had a picnic.

After lunch, there was even time for sandcastles.

And then there was clean up!  We had sand everywhere!

The Ladybugs (and their friends) visited Dash Point State Park on Friday for a minus tide.  We loved that the water was so far out and that many of the sea animals we had been learning about were visible on the beach.  The sun was shining and we were almost the only people on the beach.  We were able to run and dig and splash and yell and it was great!   We found clams, crabs, moon snails, kelp, jellyfish, sand dollars and gooey ducks.  I think everyone had wet, sandy feet and a smile on their face.
