Learning with our 5 senses

We've had such a busy week in the Ladybugs that there wasn't time to take pictures of it all!  The kids took apart a computer, hammered a wooden box together and used salt water and tap water to explore density and buoyancy.  We are learning about animals in tide pools this month and we'll finish that unit up with a visit to the beach at minus tide.

Happy to be back to school

We started our study of tide pools by trying out a  little snorkling gear.

We're all excited to be back at school after spring break!  We wasted no time getting right to work on our new area of study.  For the next few weeks we will be learning about tide pools and the animals that inhabit them.
